Vodka and Coffee Liqueur Cocktails

Vodka and coffee liqueur is a two-bottle bar that covers a surprising amount of ground, because the vodka adds strength without adding flavour and lets the coffee be the entire drink.

Two ingredients on their own are a Black Russian. Add cream and it is a White Russian. Add fresh espresso and shake it hard and it is an Espresso Martini, which is the only one of the three that is not a dessert.

For the Espresso Martini: hot espresso, shaken immediately, no extra sugar. The liqueur is sweet enough and the crema is what makes the foam.
