Bright, tangy citrus from lime and Cointreau sits on a botanical gin backbone, while a whisper of Pernod's anise and a dash of green crème de menthe add a cool, herbaceous-liqueur twist and a faint pale-green tint. It drinks lighter than its spirit content suggests thanks to the citrus, but the Pernod and mint give it a distinctive, slightly savory complexity worth trying. Ideal if you like gin cocktails with an unexpected licorice-mint note.
