Damn-The-Weather Cocktail

Bright and citrus-forward, this small-format cocktail pairs gin's botanical backbone with orange from both fresh juice and triple sec while sweet vermouth adds a rounded, slightly herbal sweetness. Pale amber-orange and served up in a chilled cocktail glass, it's an easy, refreshing aperitif. A compact, approachable drink worth making when you want something light but flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 1 tblsp Sweet Vermouth
  • 1 oz Gin
  • 1 tblsp Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp Triple Sec Liqueur

Instructions

  1. Combine the Sweet Vermouth, Gin, Orange Juice, and Triple Sec in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add ice to the shaker.
  3. Shake well until the ingredients are thoroughly chilled.
  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
  5. Serve immediately.
