Black and Fall

A spirit-forward, autumnal sipper that pairs Cognac's depth with Calvados' bright orchard-fruit character, rounded by a kiss of Cointreau and a faint anise note from Pernod. It presents as a clear amber cocktail, chilled and served up, offering a smooth, rich mouthfeel with a citrus lift and herbaceous finish. Great for an after-dinner drink or when you want a complex, warming cocktail with few ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 0.75 oz Cognac
  • 0.75 oz Calvados
  • 0.25 oz Cointreau® Orange Liqueur
  • 3 dash Pernod®

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice cubes.
  2. Stir well to chill and blend the flavors.
  3. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Serve immediately.
