TNT Cocktail

A bold, spirit-forward sipper that marries warm, fruity cognac with bright orange sweetness and a furtive herbal/anise lift from absinthe. It pours clear-amber and drinks dry, with aromatic bitters adding a restrained bitter backbone. Worth trying if you enjoy concentrated, complex cocktails that balance richness with a sharp herbal finish.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Cognac
  • 0.5 oz Cointreau® Orange Liqueur
  • 2 dash Aromatic Bitters
  • 1 part Deva® Absinthe

Instructions

  1. In a mixing glass, combine the cognac, Cointreau orange liqueur, bitters, and Deva absinthe.
  2. Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes to chill the mixture thoroughly.
  3. Stir the mixture gently to blend the flavors and achieve a uniform temperature.
  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass, leaving the ice behind in the mixing glass.
  5. Serve immediately to enjoy the balanced flavors of the TNT Cocktail.
