Allied Requirements

A crisp, dry aperitif with bright botanical gin and vinous dry vermouth lifted by a whisper of anise from Pernod and a touch of aromatic bitters. Pale straw in the glass, stirred and served up for a clean, lightly bitter, spirit-forward sipper that's ideal before a meal or for fans of classic dry cocktails.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Dry Vermouth
  • 1 oz Gin
  • 0.5 tsp Pernod®
  • 1 dash Aromatic Bitters

Instructions

  1. Fill a mixing glass halfway with ice cubes.
  2. Add dry vermouth, gin, Pernod® licorice liqueur, and bitters to the mixing glass.
  3. Stir the mixture well until it is thoroughly chilled.
  4. Strain the cocktail into a clean cocktail glass.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy.
