Dempsey Cocktail

Bright, slightly sweet and licorice-forward, the Dempsey pairs fruity apple brandy and floral botanicals from gin with a sweet strip of grenadine. It pours a pale rosy hue and is worth trying for the distinctive anise note that turns a classic stirred cocktail into something intriguingly aromatic.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Apple Brandy
  • 1 oz Gin
  • 1 tsp Anise
  • 0.5 tsp Grenadine

Instructions

  1. Combine apple brandy, gin, anis, and grenadine in a mixing glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir the mixture thoroughly until well-chilled.
