Migration

A tart, slightly sweet highball that pairs bright grapefruit with botanical gin and rich dark rum, all softened by almond-sweet amaretto. It pours a pale pink-salmon over ice and drinks light-bodied but pleasantly boozy. Try it if you want a refreshing, citrus-forward cocktail with a nutty twist and layered spirit complexity.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Gin
  • 1 oz Dark Rum
  • 2 oz Grapefruit Juice
  • 0.75 oz Amaretto Liqueur

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Add gin, dark rum, grapefruit juice, and amaretto almond liqueur to the shaker.
  3. Shake the mixture vigorously until well chilled.
  4. Strain the cocktail into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.
