Nirvana

A short, shaken gin cocktail brightened by sweet cherry liqueur and lifted with Pernod's distinctive anise/licorice aroma. It pours a deep rose to ruby color and tastes sweet and fruity with a lingering herbal licorice note over a boozy gin backbone. A good choice for someone who enjoys bold, slightly dessert-like cocktails with anise character.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Gin
  • 1 oz Cherry Liqueur
  • 0.5 oz Pernod®

Instructions

  1. Add gin, cherry liqueur, and Pernod® licorice liqueur into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously until well chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
