Bright and herbaceous with a honeyed sweetness from Yellow Chartreuse and a botanical backbone from Plymouth gin, finished with lively Champagne bubbles. Visually simple, powdered sugar dissolving into a pale, effervescent cocktail over ice, it’s an approachable, complex aperitif worth trying when you want something both refreshing and distinctive.

Ingredients

  • 1 Confectioners' Sugar
  • 1 oz Plymouth® Gin
  • 1.5 oz Chartreuse® Yellow Liqueur
  • 1.5 oz Champagne

Instructions

  1. Begin by spooning the powdered sugar into an old-fashioned glass.
  2. Add the Plymouth® gin and stir well until the powdered sugar is mostly dissolved.
  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the Yellow Chartreuse® over the ice.
  5. Gently top off the mixture with Champagne.
