Bright citrus and sweet pomegranate meet a pronounced anise lift from the Pernod, layered over a classic gin backbone. The colour is a warm pink-orange and the drink feels light and refreshing with an intriguing herbal/licorice edge that makes it worth trying if you like gin cocktails with a twist.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 0.5 oz Pernod®
  • 1 oz Orange Juice
  • 0.5 tsp Grenadine

Instructions

  1. Fill a shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  2. Add gin, Pernod, orange juice, and grenadine to the shaker.
  3. Shake the mixture well until all components are thoroughly combined.
  4. Strain the drink into an old-fashioned glass.
  5. Serve and enjoy your drink.
