Apricot Anise Collins

A bright, fizzy Collins that balances gin's botanical backbone with sweet apricot and a whisper of licorice from the anisette. Pale amber and served tall over ice with a lemon slice, it's an easy, citrus-lifted long drink worth ordering for a refreshing aperitif or warm-weather sip.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 oz Apricot Brandy
  • 1.5 oz Gin
  • 1.5 tsp Anisette Liqueur
  • 1 tblsp Lemon Juice
  • Fill Carbonated Water

Instructions

  1. In a shaker with ice, combine the gin, apricot brandy, anisette, and lemon juice.
  2. Shake well to ensure the ingredients are thoroughly mixed and chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice cubes.
  4. Top the drink off with carbonated water, stirring lightly to combine.
  5. Garnish with a slice of lemon on the rim of the glass.
