Painter's Delight

Bright and fizzy, Painter's Delight pairs juniper-forward gin with zesty green Curaçao and a whisper of anise from Pernod, finished with lemon and soda for an effervescent lift. It pours a pale green, bubbly highball and is worth trying for its unusual savory-sweet interplay and easy, refreshing drinkability as a light aperitif.

Ingredients

  • 4 cl Gin
  • 2 cl Green Curaçao Liqueur
  • 1 tsp Pernod®
  • 1 Juice of 1/2 Lemon Juice
  • Fill Soda Water

Instructions

  1. Combine the gin, green Curacao, Pernod, and lemon juice into a highball glass filled with ice cubes.
  2. Top up the mixture with soda water.
  3. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
  4. Serve immediately in a highball glass.
