Bright and brisk, the Major Tom pairs clean vodka with tart grapefruit and a sweet-orange lift from Cointreau, yielding a crisp, citrus-forward sip. A whisper of kirschwasser adds a subtle cherry/almond depth that makes the drink intriguingly complex without being heavy. Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Vodka
  • 0.5 oz Cointreau® Orange Liqueur
  • 0.5 oz Kirschwasser
  • 0.5 oz Grapefruit Juice

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  2. Pour in the vodka.
  3. Add Cointreau orange liqueur to the shaker.
  4. Include the Kirschwasser cherry brandy.
  5. Add the grapefruit juice.
  6. Shake the mixture well until thoroughly combined.
  7. Strain the contents into a chilled cocktail glass.
  8. Serve immediately.
