Flaming Chocolate Orange

A small, dramatic shooter that pairs velvety Baileys Irish Cream with bright, zesty Cointreau. It pours as a two-layered shot with a brief flame on top, delivering a sweet chocolate-orange hit and a warm, theatrical finish, great as a dessert-style party trick.

Ingredients

  • 1.33 oz Baileys® Original Irish Cream
  • 0.5 oz Cointreau® Orange Liqueur

Instructions

  1. Start by pouring the Bailey's® Irish Cream into a shot glass, ensuring a smooth layer at the bottom.
  2. Gently float the Cointreau® Orange Liqueur on top of the Bailey's using the back of a spoon to create a layered effect.
  3. Carefully ignite the top layer of Cointreau with a lighter or match. Ensure safety by keeping flammable materials away.
  4. If desired, drink through a straw while the flame is still lit, taking care not to burn yourself. Alternatively, extinguish the flame before consuming the shot in one go.
