Edith Day Cocktail

Bright, grapefruit-forward citrus meets a silky, frothy texture from the whole egg and a touch of sugar, tart and slightly sweet with a smooth, pillowy mouthfeel. Pale pink with a dense foam crown served over shaved ice in a flute, it’s a refreshing, elegant choice for brunch or as a light aperitif.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz London Dry Gin
  • 1 oz Grapefruit Juice
  • 1 pieces Egg
  • 0.5 tsp Granulated Sugar

Instructions

  1. Add dry gin, grapefruit juice, egg, and sugar to a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes.
  2. Shake vigorously until the mixture is well chilled and frothy.
  3. Strain the mixture over shaved ice into a champagne flute.
  4. Serve immediately.
