Gin Cooler

A light, effervescent highball that highlights the clean, botanical character of gin with a whisper of sweetness from confectioners' sugar and bright citrus aromatics from lemon and orange garnishes. It pours pale and bubbly in a tall collins glass, topped with a spiral of orange and a lemon twist for a fragrant finish. Ideal when you want a simple, refreshing aperitif that’s easy to make but feels a bit special.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Gin
  • Fill Carbonated Water
  • 0.5 tsp Confectioners' Sugar

Instructions

  1. In a collins glass, add the powdered sugar.
  2. Pour a small amount of carbonated water to dissolve the sugar.
  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  4. Add the gin to the glass.
  5. Top up the glass with carbonated water.
  6. Gently stir the mixture.
  7. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel and an orange spiral, allowing the end of the orange spiral to hang over the rim.
