Palmetto Cocktail

Bright, herbaceous and dry, the Palmetto pairs light rum with dry vermouth and a few dashes of aromatic bitters for a refined, slightly bitter sipper. It pours a pale straw color with a silky, lightly herbal mouthfeel and a whisper of cane sweetness. Try it if you prefer elegant, spirit-forward aperitifs that are delicate rather than boozy.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Dry Vermouth
  • 1.5 oz Light Rum
  • 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters

Instructions

  1. Combine the dry vermouth, light rum, and bitters in a mixing glass.
  2. Add ice to the mixing glass to chill the ingredients.
  3. Stir the mixture thoroughly to ensure it's well chilled and combined.
  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass to remove the ice.
  5. Serve immediately for optimal flavor.
