Bright orange notes from Cointreau and the aromatic lift of orange bitters cut through the Scotch's malty, sometimes peaty backbone, creating a balanced, slightly smoky sipper. Poured over ice it presents as a clear amber drink with a silky, warming mouthfeel and a concise citrus finish. Ingredients

  • 2 oz Scotch
  • 0.5 oz Cointreau® Orange Liqueur
  • 2 dashes Orange Bitters

Instructions

  1. Pour the Scotch, Cointreau, and orange bitters into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake the mixture well until it is thoroughly chilled.
  3. Strain the mix into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice cubes.
