Yale Cocktail

Bright and spirit-forward, the Yale Cocktail showcases gin's botanical backbone with a concise hit of orange from Blue Curaçao and a balancing dash of aromatic bitters. Its pale aquamarine hue and clean, stirred presentation make it an elegant aperitif for those who enjoy dry, classic gin cocktails with a subtle citrus twist.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 oz Dry Vermouth
  • 1.5 oz Gin
  • 1 tsp Blue Curaçao Liqueur
  • 1 dash Aromatic Bitters

Instructions

  1. Chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.
  2. Measure and pour dry vermouth, gin, blue curacao, and bitters into a mixing glass.
  3. Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes to the brim.
  4. With a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for approximately 30 seconds until well chilled.
  5. Discard the ice water from the cocktail glass and strain the mixture into the glass.
  6. Serve immediately, and enjoy.
