Scotch Holiday Sour

A smoky, slightly sweet take on a sour where peaty Scotch meets cherry liqueur and rounded sweet vermouth, brightened by fresh lemon. It pours a warm amber-red over ice with a lemon slice, rich and cocktail-forward but refreshing enough to sip slowly.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Scotch
  • 1 oz Cherry Liqueur
  • 0.5 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Combine Scotch, Cherry Brandy, Sweet Vermouth, and Lemon Juice in a shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake the mixture vigorously until well chilled.
  3. Strain the cocktail into an old-fashioned glass filled with fresh ice cubes.
  4. Garnish with a slice of lemon on the rim of the glass.
