Anisette Cocktail

Velvety and sweet with a pronounced licorice/anise character from the anisette, brightened by a whisper of gin and rounded into a silky texture by cream and whole egg. Served up in a cordial glass and dusted with nutmeg, it’s an indulgent, smooth after-dinner sipper for those who enjoy dessert-style cocktails with herbal-spice notes.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Anisette Liqueur
  • 0.5 oz Gin
  • 0.5 oz Whipping Cream
  • 0.5 oz Egg

Instructions

  1. Combine anisette, gin, whipping cream, and egg in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously until well mixed and chilled.
  3. Double strain into a cordial glass to remove any ice shards and egg residue.
  4. Garnish the drink by sprinkling nutmeg on top.
