Blue Denim

A crisp, slightly bitter short cocktail where bright citrus-blue notes from Blue Curaçao meet dry vermouth and a hint of warming bourbon, rounded by Angostura bitters. It pours a pale, slightly blue-tinted amber and is served well chilled, emphasizing aromatic bitters and a dry finish. A good choice if you want a low-sweetness, modern riff on vermouth-forward stirred classics with a colorful twist.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 oz Bourbon
  • 1 dash Blue Curaçao Liqueur
  • 0.5 oz Dry Vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura® Bitters

Instructions

  1. Pour bourbon whiskey, Blue Curacao® liqueur, dry vermouth, and Angostura® bitters into a cocktail shaker filled with crushed ice.
  2. Shake well until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
  3. Strain the mixture into an old-fashioned glass.
