Long vodka

A bright, refreshing highball that pairs clean vodka with zippy lime and the aromatic, spicy bite of Angostura. It looks simple and elegant, clear with a foamy tonic top and a bitters-coated inner rim that adds complexity with every sip. Worth trying if you like light, effervescent drinks with a subtle bitter-citrus twist.

Ingredients

  • 5 cl Vodka
  • 0.5 Lime
  • 4 dashes Angostura® Bitters
  • 1 dl Schweppes® Tonic Water

Instructions

  1. Coat the inside of a highball glass by shaking it with Angostura Bitters and ice cubes.
  2. Pour the vodka into the glass.
  3. Add one slice of lime for garnish and squeeze the rest of the lime juice into the drink.
  4. Top up with Schweppes Tonic Water and give it a gentle stir.
  5. Serve immediately.
