Tannersworth

A ruby, slightly syrupy aperitif-style cocktail where Dubonnet's sweet, quinine-tinged herbal notes lead, tempered by the botanical lift of gin and a crisp thread of dry vermouth. It looks deep red and stirred-smooth, with a balanced bitter-sweet finish that makes it an easy introduction to fortified-wine cocktails. Worth trying if you enjoy vermouth-forward, slightly sweet classics that are low-fuss but complex in flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Dubonnet® Rouge
  • 0.5 oz Gin
  • 0.5 oz Dry Vermouth

Instructions

  1. Add Dubonnet, gin, and dry vermouth into a mixing glass filled halfway with ice cubes.
  2. Stir the mixture well to thoroughly chill.
  3. Strain the mix into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Serve immediately.
