Eclipse

Bright and fruity with a pronounced sweet-berry note from the sloe gin tempered by the botanical bite of London-style gin, finished with a glossy ribbon of grenadine. Visually striking, a deep red layer settling around a cherry and half an orange slice, it's a short, easy shaken sipper worth ordering when you want something simple, pretty, and crowd-pleasing.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Sloe Gin
  • 0.5 oz Gin
  • 0.5 oz Grenadine

Instructions

  1. Combine sloe gin and gin in a shaker with ice. Shake well until chilled.
  2. Strain the mixture into a cordial glass containing the cherry.
  3. Slowly pour grenadine over the back of a spoon to gently layer it over the cherry.
  4. Garnish the drink with half a slice of orange.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy.
