Janet Standard

A compact, brandy-forward sipper with warm oak and raisin notes brightened by a single dash of Angostura and rounded by almond-sweet orgeat. It pours clear and amber into a chilled cocktail glass with a smooth, silky texture and a subtly nutty finish. Worth trying if you like short, boozy cocktails that are simple yet slightly dessert-like.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Brandy
  • 1 dash Angostura® Bitters
  • 1 tsp Orgeat Syrup

Instructions

  1. Add brandy, Angostura® bitters, and orgeat syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously to combine the ingredients and chill the mixture.
  3. Strain the cocktail into a chilled cocktail glass.
