Ingredients
- 4 cups Cranberry Juice Cocktail
- 1 cup Crystallized Ginger
- 3 Orange
- 12 oz Frozen Apple Juice Concentrate
- 6 oz Frozen Limeade Concentrate
- 2 cups Grapes
- 4 cups Water
- Fill Ginger Ale
Instructions
- Begin by bringing 1 cup of cranberry juice to a boil with the chopped and candied ginger in a small pan over high heat.
- Allow the mixture to boil for about 2 minutes, then set it aside to cool.
- Using a vegetable peeler, remove the colored peel from the oranges, cutting them into long thin strips resembling worms.
- Combine the orange peel with the cranberry-ginger mixture and cover. Chill the mixture for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best results.
- Juice the prepared oranges and add the juice to a large 6 to 8-quart pan or a heavy bowl.
- Incorporate the chilled cranberry-ginger mixture along with the remaining 3 cups of cranberry juice cocktail, frozen apple juice concentrate, frozen limeade concentrate, grapes, and water into the bowl.
- Cover and chill the mixture for up to 2 hours to enhance the flavors.
- For serving, incorporate ginger ale and a piece of dry ice for a dramatic effect. Ensure the dry ice is large enough to release smoke for about 30 minutes (do not add small pieces directly to cups).
- Serve the punch in cups, replenishing dry ice as needed to maintain the effect.
