Ingredients
- 1 qt Heavy Cream
- 6 Egg
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 cups Bourbon
Instructions
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites and set the whites aside for later use.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks until smooth.
- Gradually add the sugar to the yolks, continuing to beat the mixture until it is fully combined.
- Slowly add the bourbon to the yolk and sugar mixture while beating continuously.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until they form stiff peaks.
- Gently fold the stiff egg whites into the yolk and bourbon mixture without deflating the whites.
- Next, fold the whipped heavy cream into the combined mixture until everything is well incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture to a suitable container, cover, and refrigerate for at least four days to allow the flavors to develop.
- Stir the refrigerated mixture occasionally to prevent ingredient separation.
- Once ready to serve, pour into any glass and garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg or cinnamon for added aroma and flavor.
