Addison Special

Bright, easygoing mix of vodka and orange juice brightened by a sweet splash of grenadine; it tastes sweet and citrusy with a hint of cherry from the grenadine. Served over ice with a cherry and orange wedge, it pours a sunset-hued gradient that's as inviting as it is simple, a quick, crowd-pleasing choice for brunch or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 shot Vodka
  • 1 tblsp Grenadine
  • Fill Orange Juice

Instructions

  1. Add vodka and grenadine to a shaker.
  2. Fill the shaker halfway with ice.
  3. Shake well until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
  4. Strain the mixture into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice.
  5. Garnish the drink with a cherry and an orange wedge before serving.
