Whip Cocktail

A brandy-forward, aromatically sweet and herbaceous cocktail with a pronounced anise/licorice note and a subtle citrus lift from the triple sec. It pours a warm amber hue and feels smooth and silky on the palate thanks to the stirred chill and vermouth balance. Worth trying if you enjoy boozy, complex sippers as an after-dinner digestif.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 0.5 oz Dry Vermouth
  • 1.5 oz Brandy
  • 1 tsp Triple Sec Liqueur
  • 0.25 tsp Anise

Instructions

  1. Combine sweet vermouth, dry vermouth, brandy, triple sec, and anis into a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Stir the ingredients well until chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Serve immediately.
