Black Watch

A dark, coffee-forward long drink where Kahlúa's sweet coffee and vanilla notes meet the smoky, malty character of Scotch, brightened by a splash of soda. It pours deep brown over ice and drinks smoothly, an easy, slightly effervescent after-dinner nightcap for coffee-and-whisky fans.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Kahlúa® Coffee Liqueur
  • 1.5 oz Scotch
  • 1 dash Soda Water

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker two-thirds full with ice cubes.
  2. Add Kahlua and Scotch whisky to the shaker.
  3. Stir the mixture thoroughly until well chilled.
  4. Strain the drink into a highball glass.
  5. Top with a dash of soda water to finish.
