John McKinnon's Promise

Ingredients

• 2 oz Bourbon
• 1 oz Apple Brandy
• Fill Cider
• 1 cube Sugar Cubes

Instructions

1. Add bourbon whiskey and apple flavored brandy to a shaker half-filled with shaved ice.
2. Shake vigorously until well chilled.
3. Strain the mixture into a highball glass.
4. Place a sugar cube at the bottom of the glass.
5. Add three fingers of ice to cover the sugar cube and liquid.
6. Slowly pour cider to fill the glass.
7. Gently float a cherry on top as a garnish.
