A nutty, slightly sweet sipper where amaretto's almond richness meets a smoky Scotch backbone, brightened by a whisper of fresh lemon. Pale amber and well-chilled in a cocktail glass, it's smooth and balanced. An easy, dessert-style drink worth making as an after-dinner nightcap.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Scotch
  • 0.75 oz Amaretto Liqueur
  • 0.125 oz Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  2. Add Scotch whisky, amaretto almond liqueur, and fresh lemon juice to the shaker.
  3. Shake the mixture vigorously until well-chilled.
  4. Strain the cocktail into a chilled cocktail glass.
  5. Serve immediately.
