A crisp, spirit-forward sipper where apple-brandy warmth from Calvados and light molasses notes from white rum meet the herbal dryness of extra-dry vermouth, brightened by a kiss of lime and a touch of grenadine sweetness. It pours pale amber-to-pink and is perfectly clear and elegant in a chilled cocktail glass. Worth trying if you enjoy balanced, slightly fruity cocktails that are more refined than sweet tiki drinks.

Ingredients

  • 0.75 oz White Rum
  • 0.75 oz Calvados
  • 0.75 oz Noilly Prat® Extra Dry Vermouth
  • 1 dash Grenadine
  • 1 dash Lime Juice

Instructions

  1. Combine white rum, Calvados® brandy, Noilly Prat® French vermouth, grenadine syrup, and lime juice in a mixing glass filled with ice cubes.
  2. Stir the mixture thoroughly to chill and blend the ingredients.
  3. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy.
