Yellow Parrot

A sweet, golden sipper where herbaceous Yellow Chartreuse meets jammy apricot and a whisper of anise, yielding a honeyed, licorice-accented fruit cocktail. Smooth and slightly boozy, it looks clear pale-yellow and is worth trying if you enjoy complex liqueur-forward drinks that work well as a digestif or after-dinner treat.

Ingredients

  • 0.75 oz Chartreuse® Yellow Liqueur
  • 0.75 oz Apricot Brandy
  • 0.25 oz Anisette Liqueur

Instructions

  1. Place Yellow Chartreuse, Apricot Brandy, and Anisette in a mixing glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir the mixture thoroughly to chill and combine the ingredients.
  3. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
