Red Witch

Aromatic Pernod lends a pronounced anise/licorice note while crisp cider and sweet-tart blackcurrant syrup create a deep ruby, fizzy drink. It tastes fruity and sweet up front with a herbal, slightly bitter finish and a light effervescence. Worth trying if you enjoy cider-based long drinks with an unusual, aromatic twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 shot Pernod®
  • Fill Cider
  • To Taste Blackcurrant Syrup

Instructions

  1. Begin by adding Pernod® Liqueur to a pint glass.
  2. Carefully fill the glass almost to the top with cider.
  3. Add blackcurrant cordial to your desired level of sweetness.
  4. Stir gently to combine the flavors.
