Spicey Scot

A cozy, dessert-style hot cocktail where sweet butterscotch melds with warm spiced rum and rich hot chocolate, finished with a cloud of whipped cream. It looks indulgent in an Irish coffee cup, often garnished with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cinnamon or nutmeg. Ingredients

  • 0.5 oz Butterscotch Schnapps
  • 0.5 oz Spiced Rum
  • 3 oz Hot Chocolate

Instructions

  1. Pour the butterscotch schnapps and spiced rum into an Irish coffee cup.
  2. Fill the cup with hot chocolate, leaving some space at the top for the garnish.
  3. Gently add a generous dollop of whipped cream over the hot chocolate.
  4. Optionally, shave some chocolate, cinnamon, or nutmeg on top of the whipped cream for extra flavor.
