Hot Peppermint Patty

A Hot Peppermint Patty is a cozy, mint-forward hot chocolate cocktail, rich dark chocolate and crème de cacao wrapped around bright peppermint schnapps and a finishing drizzle of green crème de menthe. It pours steaming dark, topped with whipped cream and a minty green dot that gives a festive, dessert-like finish; perfect for a chilly nightcap or after-dinner treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Peppermint Schnapps
  • 0.5 oz Crème de Cacao Brun Liqueur
  • 1 tsp Crème de Menthe Verte Liqueur
  • Fill Hot Chocolate
  • 0.5 oz Whipped Cream

Instructions

  1. Add peppermint schnapps and dark creme de cacao to an Irish coffee cup.
  2. Fill the cup with hot chocolate to your desired level.
  3. Top the drink with whipped cream.
  4. Carefully add a teaspoon of green creme de menthe on top for a minty finish.
