Bright, citrus-driven and gently sweet, the Immaculata balances zesty lime and lemon with the almond warmth of amaretto against a light rum base. It pours a pale straw color and is vibrantly chilled from shaking, a crisp, easy sipper worth trying if you like nutty cocktails with a refreshing tart edge. The simple sugar lift smooths the edges, making it approachable as an aperitif or sunny cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Light Rum
  • 0.5 oz Amaretto Liqueur
  • 0.5 oz Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 tsp Caster Sugar

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  2. Add light rum, amaretto, lime juice, lemon juice, and superfine sugar to the shaker.
  3. Shake the mixture vigorously until well-chilled.
  4. Strain the drink into a cocktail glass.
