A Pousse Café is a visually striking, multi-layered liqueur sip that tastes intensely sweet and dessert-like, with floral violet, cherry and chocolate notes framed by bright orange curaçao and a warming brandy top. It looks like a mini rainbow of distinct, jewel-toned layers stacked in a cordial glass, making it as much a theatrical presentation as a drink. Worth ordering or making for a showy after-dinner digestif or conversation-starter when you want something sweet and complex in tiny sips.
