Don's Special Daiquiri

A Donn Beach reworking of the Daiquiri that swaps plain sugar for honey and passion fruit and splits the base between funky Jamaican gold and clean white rum. Flash-blended with crushed ice, it pours slushy and pale gold into a footed glass, tart up front with a tropical, faintly floral finish. Worth making if you like a Daiquiri but want something with more going on.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Jamaican Gold Rum
  • 15 ml White Rum
  • 15 ml Passion Fruit Syrup
  • 15 ml Lime Juice
  • 15 ml Honey

Instructions

  1. Blend for a few seconds in a milkshake mixer with crushed ice and pour into a footed copo glass. Fill the glass with more crushed ice.
