Brandy Old Fashion (Pressed)

A fizzy, slightly sweet Wisconsin-style take on an Old Fashioned: brandy-forward with sweet old-fashioned mix mellowed by lemon-lime soda. Visually it's a tall amber highball with two or three green olives speared and resting at the bottom while bubbles rise through the drink. Worth trying if you want an easy, crowd-pleasing, effervescent sipper that highlights brandy without being too heavy.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz Old-Fashioned Cocktail Mix
  • 2 oz E&J® Brandy
  • Fill 7Up®

Instructions

  1. Place two or three green olives on a toothpick and set them at the bottom of a highball glass.
  2. Fill the glass one-third of the way with ice.
  3. Pour the E&J® brandy into the glass.
  4. Add the Old-fashioned mix to the glass.
  5. Top off the drink with 7-Up® soda until the glass is nearly full.
  6. Stir the drink several times to mix the ingredients well.
  7. Enjoy the drink, capturing the essence of Wisconsin any time of year.
