Malibu Sunrise

Bright, coconut-forward and sweet, with sunny citrus from orange juice and a syrupy pomegranate finish from the grenadine. It looks like a miniature sunrise as the red grenadine sinks and slowly rises through the glass, making it an easy, crowd-pleasing poolside sipper worth ordering for its visuals and simple tropical flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 shots Malibu® Coconut Rum
  • Fill Orange Juice
  • 1 shot Grenadine

Instructions

  1. Pour the Malibu® Rum into a Highball Glass.
  2. Top the glass with Orange Juice until full.
  3. Stir the mixture gently to combine the ingredients.
  4. Tilt the glass slightly and quickly pour the Grenadine down the side.
  5. Watch as the Grenadine sinks to the bottom and rises slowly through the drink, creating a sunrise effect.
