A bright, spirit-forward cocktail with a clean vodka backbone mellowed by dry vermouth, a faint cherry-almond note from the maraschino, and a crisp lemon lift. It looks clear and elegant served very cold in a cocktail glass with a bright lemon twist. Ingredients

  • 3 oz Vodka
  • 1 oz Dry Vermouth
  • 0.5 tsp Maraschino Cherry Liqueur
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with cracked ice.
  2. Pour in the vodka, dry vermouth, maraschino liqueur, and fresh lemon juice.
  3. Shake the mixture thoroughly until well chilled.
  4. Strain the liquid into a chilled cocktail glass.
  5. Garnish with a lemon twist just before serving.
