Casablanca

A sweet, creamy tropical cocktail where lush pineapple and coconut flavors dominate with a silky coconut cream mouthfeel and a backing of light rum warmth. Visually striking, pale yellow blended body with a red grenadine layer settled at the bottom and a pineapple slice on the rim, it's an easy, crowd-pleasing poolside treat worth ordering when you want a dessert-like, vacation-style drink.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz White Rum
  • 0.5 oz Coconut Rum
  • 4 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1 oz Coconut Cream
  • 0.5 oz Grenadine

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine white rum, coconut rum, pineapple juice, and coconut cream with a generous amount of crushed ice.
  2. Blend the mixture briefly until it is smooth and icy.
  3. Pour the blended mixture into a Collins glass.
  4. Carefully add grenadine syrup to the drink to create a layered effect, allowing it to settle at the bottom.
  5. Garnish with a slice of pineapple on the rim of the glass.
  6. Serve immediately without stirring.
