L'aird Of Summer Isle

Bright pineapple and sweet anise from Pernod meet the smoky, malty backbone of Scotch to create a surprisingly balanced tropical-campfire flavor. Served long over fresh ice with a sunlit golden hue, it’s worth trying if you like adventurous contrasts between smoky whisky and lush tropical sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Scotch
  • 0.5 oz Pernod®
  • 3 oz Pineapple Juice

Instructions

  1. Fill a shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  2. Combine Scotch, Pernod, and Pineapple Juice in the shaker.
  3. Shake vigorously to mix all ingredients together.
  4. Strain the mixture into an old-fashioned glass filled almost to the top with fresh ice cubes.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy your cocktail.
