Heart Throb

A creamy, coffee-forward shooter with a sweet Kahlúa base, a velvety cream mid-layer and a warming dark rum float. It looks striking as a three-layered shot and drinks like a dessert, smooth and sweet with a coffee-chocolate start that finishes with a boozy rum kick, perfect for after-dinner or party moments.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 oz Kahlúa® Coffee Liqueur
  • 0.75 oz Whipping Cream
  • 0.75 oz Dark Rum

Instructions

  1. Gently pour Kahlua® coffee liqueur into a shot glass.
  2. Slowly layer whipping cream over the Kahlua® by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
  3. Layer dark rum on top of the cream, ensuring the layers remain distinct.
  4. Serve immediately without stirring.
