Tequila Colagallo

A bright, easy tequila-and-Cola highball where zesty lemon and a pinch of salt lift the familiar sweetness of Coca-Cola and the clean agave bite of silver tequila. It looks like a classic long drink, dark cola over ice with a citrusy sheen, and drinks light, effervescent and very quaffable. Worth trying if you want a simple, crowd-pleasing twist on a rum-and-Coke-style serve with a savory citrus edge.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Casa Noble® Silver Tequila
  • 8 oz Coca-Cola®
  • 2 Lemon Lemon Juice
  • 3 pinches Salt

Instructions

  1. Squeeze the juice from two lemons into a glass.
  2. Add a generous amount of ice to the glass to chill the ingredients.
  3. Sprinkle three pinches of salt over the ice to enhance the flavors.
  4. Pour 1.5 ounces of Casa Noble Tequila into the glass and gently stir to combine.
  5. Fill the remainder of the glass with 8 ounces of Coca-Cola, taking care not to overflow.
