Hot Buttered Comfort

A warm, comforting mug that blends Southern Comfort's peach-sweet, slightly spiced liqueur with hot water and a floating pat of butter. It presents as a steaming amber drink topped with glossy melted butter, a cinnamon stick and a lemon slice, tasting sweet, creamy and gently spiced with a bright citrus lift. Worth trying as an easy, dessert-style nightcap when you want something cozy and indulgent.

Ingredients

  • 1.25 oz Southern Comfort®
  • 4 oz Water
  • 1 tsp Butter

Instructions

  1. Pour the Southern Comfort® peach liqueur into a coffee mug.
  2. Add the hot water to the mug and stir gently until well mixed.
  3. Float a teaspoon of butter on top of the drink.
  4. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a slice of lemon on the rim.
  5. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy.
